Summary
Beauty is not based on appearances. We have a wellbeing deficiency in the USA. The Trump Administration is focusing on appearances. The truth is far from what the appearances created as propaganda by the Trump Administration. Let’s take back our country and promote our collective wellbeing, together.
Appearances, USA 2025, and Wellbeing
Appearances are consuming the Trump Administration. Let’s briefly explore appearances, USA 2025, and wellbeing. Yes, there are connections!
Appearances, USA 2025, and Wellbeing: What the Hell?
What the hell?
Appearances have become the euphemism for everything the Trump Administration has been doing since Donald J. Trump was inaugurated on January 20, 2025. Here are a few examples:
- Targeting people based on their looks and their accents: appearances.
- Lying about what is going on with the economy: manufacturing the appearance of financial solvency.
- Creating stories to explain Trump’s hand bruising, word-finding difficulties, slurring of words, wandering off during official visits, the rationale for Trump receiving medical tests like MRIs, Trump’s performance on the very simple Montréal Cognitive Assessment, …: appearances misinterpreted.
- Confabulating falsehoods and directing the DOJ to pursue Trump’s opponents: appearances.
- Holding cabinet meetings broadcast to the public in which all persons present adulate Trump: appearances.
- Creating false narratives about what is going on in international waters despite these strikes being deemed extrajudicial by national and international standards: dissimulating appearances.
- Asserting that Trump’s proclamations are legal when many of them violate Article I of the US Constitution: manufacturing appearances, again.
- Hiring Harmeet Dhillon as Assistant US Attorney General for Civil Rights at the US Department of Justice to dispose of the civil rights of the American people: hate to say it, all for appearances.
- Funding Argentina’s Milei’s collapsing economy to the tune of 40 billion US dollars for democracy while Trump prostrates to Putin and abandons Ukraine: appearances.
- Parlaying a 50-year mortgage as being beneficial to the American people, except that one would be paying twice as much interest as compared to a 30 year mortgage: appearances.
- Claiming tariffs are not taxes: read the US Constitution! Appearances.
- Blackmailing media outlets, universities, and law firms to comply with the Trump Administration’s white Christian nationalist agenda, allegedly to benefit the people of the USA: appearances, for the base of the base.
- And, the crème de la crème, decreasing the cost of GLP-1 agonists with the goal of allowing more Americans to be able to afford these medicaments for “weight loss”. What the hell? Appearances, only.
Appearances Are Not Equivalent to Wellbeing
Appearances, USA 2025, and wellbeing are interconnected, even moreso under the Trump Administration. Appearances do not contribute constructively to wellbeing.
Losing weight is not the end-all for wellbeing. Consider that large bodied people can be healthy. They can be healthier than small bodied persons. Inform yourself on Health at Every Size.
Parading the Mar-a-Lago face across the screens in the USA constructs a social norm of appearance that eliminates the diversity of looks. It is discriminatory and unhealthy. The strength of collective wellbeing does not coddle the fragile egos of some persons who rely on silicone injections; who promote and employ dangerous dieting schemes which lead to weight cycling, including the use of GLP-1 agonists for weight loss; who succumb to botox injections; who espouse cosmetic surgery altering their bodies; who embrace fancy clothing, expensive cars, and luxury airplanes; and who value associating with the rich.
In my opinion, the Trump Administration is manufacturing a wellbeing deficiency in our nation. As proponents of unhealthy habits and discriminatory practices and perspectives, the Trump Administration is not fostering our collective wellbeing. Rather, they are engaging in propaganda to promote their view of beauty and success.
One example is the very sad case of Kristi Noem. While I do not espouse any of her views, I see her as a human being who is worthy of compassion. The change in Kristi Noem’s appearance is exemplary of the other women in the Trump Administration and their social circles. Kristi Noem had natural beauty before the transformation to Mar-a-Lago standards. Why did she discard her natural beauty along with her principles as a human being?
Appearances, USA 2025, and Wellbeing: Our Collective Wellbeing
Let’s take back our country.
Reach out to people and share your appreciation of their beautiful spirit: their kindness, their generosity, their talents, their hard work, their compassion, and their humanity.
Every day, remind yourself that beauty is within your heart and your spirit.
Share your positivity with your community.
Shine forth with your friends, showing them how grateful you are for them, as they are.
Stand up for your neighbours: we are all in this together and each of us is a human being worthy to be alive and to be respected.
Do not fall for the narrative that Trump’s Administration has a monopoly on beauty. They peddle falsehoods. Their accusations are confessions and projections. They only have a monopoly on lies and hatred and ugliness. In my opinion. Not to be imitated, in my opinion.
Be brave. Be You.
